As a child, La Lila grew up in a coffee farm working alongside her father Antonio who had a unique passion for coffee and kindness for his workers; however, due to the civil war in the 1980s he lost his coffee farm.
In the 1990s due to economical reasons, La Lila left Nicaragua to create new opportunities for her three children. In 2013, La Lila decided it was time to return to Nicaragua to start all over again; therefore, with the help of her eldest son, she bought her own coffee farm and started doing what she loves the most, growing coffee and helping others improve their quality of life.
Finca De Cafe La Lila is located near the high mountains of Murra in Nueva Segovia, Nicaragua at over 2700 feet above sea level. The farm has a variety of different Arabica coffee (Marsellesa, Catimor and Maragohipe).
The types of coffee produced in Finca La Lila are well balanced and consistent with a creamy chocolate tone.
Our goal is to grow the best coffee in the region and improve the quality of life of our workers. We will accomplish this through better wages and by creating access to better education for their children.
